Are you in-network with insurance?

Emily is in-network with BlueCross BlueShield PPO plans, United Healthcare (Optum), and Cigna. Please check with your insurance plan for possible in or out-of-network coverage for outpatient counseling. If you are out-of-network, the full fee per session is owed out of pocket, and Emily can provide visit statements for you to submit to your insurance plan for potential partial coverage.

What payment methods can I use?

Check or credit cards can be used to pay any session fees owed. It is required that a credit card is placed on file at the initial appointment.

Which BCBS-Illinois Plans is Emily in-network with?

Emily is in-network with the following BCBS PPO Plans:

  • BCE - Blue Choice PPO Preferred

  • BCO - Blue Choice Options

  • BCS - Professional Blue Choice PPO

  • PPO - Preferred Provider Organization

What is the cost of a session?

The initial consultation is $180, and every session thereafter is $160 per session (1-hour session), and $145 per session (45-minute session). Please consult with your insurance plan regarding outpatient counseling coverage prior to starting sessions.

What is the cost of supervision consultations?

If you are a Masters-level graduate student in counseling/psychology, or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working towards LCPC licensure, Emily offers supervision and consultation meetings towards satisfying the licensure requirement. Please contact Emily for specific pricing.

Can HSA or FSA account be used?

Yes, you are welcome to use HSA and FSA cards for session fees. Emily is happy to provide necessary documentation you may need, if it is a requirement of utilizing those accounts.

What is Emily’s areas of expertise?

Children from as young as 10 years old, up to late adulthood; Emily is familiar with all ages, and especially loves working with parents and families. Emily has extensive training in working with survivors of trauma, soon-to-be parents, seasoned parents, teens/young adults, perinatal female-identified individuals, and post-partum parents.
